Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet

Norway

At NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, we create knowledge for a better world and solutions that can change everyday life. NTNU has eight faculties, 42 000 students and 7700 full-time equivalent employees. The university is the host or partner for 47 large research centres.

NTNU participates in COMFORTAGE through the Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience (CISaR) research group at the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology (IIK). In IIK we conduct internationally competitive research in most areas of cyber and information security, communication networks and networked services. We host the Centre for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS) and the SFI Norwegian Centre for Cybersecurity in Critical Sectors (NORCICS).

CISaR is the largest research group at IIK and focuses on research to help support the private and public sector to prepare for and respond correctly to security incidents involving critical infrastructure in Norway. In COMFORTAGE we lead the work towards establishing the state of the art and the requirements of the technical components (T2.1) and the development of the Blockchain Information Exchange (T3.3).
