EIP on AHA Reference Site Collaborative Network

Belgium
The Reference Site Collaborative Network (RSCN) promotes and facilitates the implementation and Scaling-Up of Innovation and Digital Solutions to address the life-course approach to active and healthy ageing.
Representing all accredited Active and Healthy Living (AHL) Reference Site regions the RSCN develops and promotes areas of innovative good practice and solutions, which contribute to improve health and care outcomes for citizens across Europe, and the development of sustainable economic growth and the creation of jobs. It facilitates multidisciplinary experts from public authorities, health, social care, education, business, research, to engage with policy makers, patient and citizen groups, and communities in sharing their diverse backgrounds and experience to identify and address mutual health and care challenges that will lead to sustainable improvements in health and care outcomes for citizens throughout the life-course.
The RSCN networks includes 67 accredited AHL Reference Site regions which collectively represent 250m citizens; 1,400 public authorities, hospitals, primary and community care providers and social care providers; 1,800 SMEs and start-ups; 500 universities, colleges, and research centres, and 500 patient and community organisations; and adopt the Quadruple Helix model to address a life-course approach to active and healthy ageing.
