Romania

We, the Ana Aslan International Foundation (www.anaaslanacademy.ro), are an innovative leading non-profit organization that integrates high-profile medical services, pioneering research, and comprehensive education within the field of longevity medicine. We leverage our extensive experience to shape the future of aging, brain health, and related pathologies, with a focus on active assisted living and holistic care.

Excellence in Medical Care: As a renowned organization, we are deeply committed to medical excellence through our Centre for Memory, Brain Health, and Longevity Medicine, and the Ana Aslan International Academy of Aging. Our key affiliations with prestigious networks like the European Alzheimer’s Disease Consortium (www.eadc.online) and Ageing Well network fuel our high-profile services, allowing us to serve over 600 patients monthly in the Bucharest metropolitan area. Our medical services are not just a part of our organization, they lie at its heart, underscoring our dedication to providing premier care.

Innovation Through Research: We’re pioneering the field of longevity medicine, leveraging our extensive experience in managing over 44 EU-funded projects with a budget exceeding 10 million euros. Our groundbreaking initiatives include the ongoing H2020 SMART BEAR project, numerous clinical studies, and leading roles in Romanian networks within two EU Research COST Actions. Research is not just our tool but our commitment to fostering innovation and actively shaping the future of healthy and active aging.

Shaping the Future of Healthcare: We are proud advocates for education, having trained over 5,000 doctors and nurses across six specialties in Romania. Our reach extends beyond direct training, as we actively disseminate knowledge through international research events and webinars. As organizers of numerous educational and scientific events, we’ve engaged with over 10,000 trainees. Our contributions to the field also include the founding of the Brain Aging International Journal and the authorship of multiple books and comprehensive medical curricula.
