A New Era for Dementia and Frailty Care

We initiated the exciting journey of the European COMFORTage project in Athens from January 16 to 18! This four-year initiative aims to develop innovative solutions for the prevention of dementia and fragility, serving as an ambassador for the ‘Silver Deal‘ promoted by the European Commission. COMFORTage brings together 39 organizations from 12 EU countries.

The COMFORTage marathon begins!

During this meeting, we had the participation of distinguished representatives such as Dr. Roxana-Maria DASCALU, EU Project Officer of European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA), and Alina LUPU, from DG CONNECT of the European Commission, e-Health, Well-Being, and Ageing Unit. Both shared the importance of following the strategies promoted by the European Union and the keys to successful management of Horizon Europe projects.

Over these intense three days, we presented various closely interrelated work packages and 13 pilots. Workshops were also conducted to unify criteria on technological infrastructure, pilot coordination, and mutual needs.

COMFORTage is an exciting challenge that requires collaboration, interaction, and joint effort among all participating entities. We aim to create a collaborative ecosystem with other stakeholders to ensure that the project’s results benefit end users and contribute significantly to the prevention of dementia and fragility.

We are excited about the road ahead and committed to the success of COMFORTage project.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress and contributions to this important European project!
