Smart solutions for enhanced bone & joint health in an ageing population
COMFORTage and SmILE are two European projects funded by Horizon Europe that share the goal of improving the quality of life of older people through innovative and person-centred approaches. While COMFORTage focuses on the development of integrated care models for healthy ageing and frailty management, SmILE works on technological solutions to support autonomy and well-being at home. The collaboration between the two projects strengthens the development of complementary strategies that integrate personalised care and technology, fostering active, safe and dignified ageing across Europe.

Life-Course Approach for Healthy Ageing Together

At the event held at Casa Convalescència, SmILE actively participated by sharing its experience and advances in the development of technological solutions for healthy ageing. This meeting brought together researchers, policy makers and health professionals to discuss integrated and person-centred care models, the digital transformation of health services and the empowerment of older people, thus strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing between related projects.
