Pilot #8: Monitoring and follow-up of AD patients towards improved and personalized recommendations

The CING Dementia Clinic focuses on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and dementia, exploring factors like mobility, swallowing, cognitive decline, and malnutrition. The study compares 100 dementia patients (50 early-stage, 50 late-stage) with healthy individuals to monitor progression and establish intervention thresholds. Clinical and radiological biomarkers will help estimate dementia onset accurately. The goal is to improve patient follow-up and personalize care recommendations, focusing on cognition’s impact on mobility, swallowing, and nutrition. Key interventions include monitoring cognition and improving follow-up exams to track disease progression.

Keys

Key outcomes aim for a >20% increase in Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores and >30% improvement in patient satisfaction, measured through questionnaires like the QUIS index.
